Essential (always on)

Required for the app to work: your sign-in session, your language and your theme. They need no consent.

• sb-…-auth-token — your Supabase sign-in session, set only when you sign in.
• theme — your light or dark preference.
• NEXT_LOCALE — the language you chose.
• On your device (local storage, not a cookie): ankora.consent.v1 keeps your audience measurement choice, theme your display preference.

Audience measurement (off by default)

Only if you accept: Vercel Web Analytics (pages viewed) and Vercel Speed Insights (page load times). Vercel states that neither sets a cookie.

Ankora does not use Google Analytics.

Marketing

Ankora uses no marketing cookie or tracker.

Changing your choice

You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Cookies & privacy, or with the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer.

Refusing audience measurement changes nothing in the app: Ankora stays fully functional.

How to change my choice

1. On your first visit, a bar at the top of the page offers two choices of equal weight: refuse, or accept audience measurement.
2. Signed in, in Settings → Cookies & privacy, you can turn audience measurement on or off.
3. From any page, the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer reopens the bar.

Withdrawing consent

Under the GDPR (Art. 7(3)), withdrawing your consent is as easy as giving it. Three equivalent ways: 1) Settings → Cookies & privacy → “Reset my choice”. 2) Footer → “Manage cookie preferences”. 3) Email thierryvm@gmail.com with the subject “Cookie consent withdrawal”.

Lifetime

• Sign-in session: 400 days at most (the Supabase library default).
• Language and theme: 12 months.
• Audience measurement: no cookie; measurement data is kept for six months (see the privacy policy).
